GEORGE PATAKI DECLARES FOR PRESIDENTIAL RUN

NEW YORK, NY – Governor George Pataki today announced his candidacy for the presidential election in the year 2028. Pataki, a Republican and former governor of New York, has made it clear that he will run for the presidency once again.

George Pataki was born on July 29, 1947, in New York City. He graduated from the University of New Mexico in 1972 and later served as a state senator before being elected as the mayor of New York City from 1990 to 1996. In 1996, he was elected as the Lieutenant Governor of New York and then became the Governor of New York in 1999.

In 2001, Pataki won the general election to become the governor of New York, serving until 2010. He ran for re-election in 2010 and won by a wide margin. Pataki retired from public office in 2010 and returned to politics in 2018 when he was elected as the Mayor of Albany.
