Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine dry ingredients: Add flour, sugar, salt, and cocoa powder in a large bowl.
- Add wet ingredients: Add butter and milk together in the bowl.
- Mix: Mix until everything comes together. Do not overmix.
- Batch size: Divide into 8 equal portions. Each batch makes about 1 dozen cookies.
- Bake: Place batches on baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Cool: Let cookies cool for 5 minutes before removing from pans.
