Project Details
In partnership with UNICEF, Fireship launched a new initiative called "Clean Water Now."
This project involves building simple yet effective water filtration systems to provide clean water to rural communities in the Amazon region.
Impact
The Clean Water Now initiative has already provided over 500,000 gallons of clean water to more than 300 villages in the Amazon basin.
These efforts have significantly reduced cases of waterborne diseases such as cholera and typhoid among local populations.
Future Plans
Fireship plans to expand its operations in Brazil and Peru by the end of the year.
The organization also aims to develop more advanced water filtration technologies for larger-scale implementation.
